Self-care involves being conscious of our physical, emotional, and mental health along with practices to enhance our well being. Self-care can include regular exercise, healthy eating, creative writing, and adequate sleep, but extends far beyond just physical health. Self-care also means setting boundaries, seeking support when needed, and engaging in hobbies that bring joy and fulfillment. Consistent self-care allows individuals to recharge and ultimately they can lead more fulfilling lives.
In the vein of fulfillment, I’ve been blessed to have received almost everything I ever wanted (within the past year.) I have an adoring husband. There’s a home and vineyard overlooking the French Riviera. I also have a wonderful group of friends. While waiting for my work documents, I spend much of my time at home. Our community does not have public transportation, and driving (in France) is intimidating even for a native of nyc. My husband as told me that I do not need to work if I choose not to do so. But because I’ve always maintained my self care practices, I can channel my energy into creative projects, (like this blog.) Creativity keeps you invigorated, because you have something to offer the world.
It’s interesting to note my current reality is a manifestation of self-care practices. I diligently incorporate these practices into my daily routine. For instance, I employed scripting to manifest my husband. I also predicted our house and our view. I detailed every aspect of our life together. Scripting is a powerful tool that allows one to visualize and articulate their dreams, transforming vague aspirations into concrete plans. It also established a profound connection to the manifestations that followed, like deja vu. Thanks to daily self care practices I am a better woman, wife and friend.
Bizou…
