our first venue visit

On August 3, 2024, I married the most incredible man. Everything about that day was perfect: an intimate ceremony with 30 of our closest friends and family. We married at the mairie on the port of Bandol. on the French Riviera, followed by an intimate dinner reception in our treasured medieval village of Castellet. Our menu was specially prepared by a childhood friend of my husband. There’s nothing I would change about our special day. However, we feel it is necessary to host a reprise for our extended family & friends abroad

Today is our first venue visit for our 2025 wedding. My dream location would be at six-fours Le Plage (shown in the photo on the right.) It’s a special place because we enjoy it’s breathtaking view from our balcony ( shown in the photo on the left.)

According to a checklist from the knot.com we are little behind. At this point we should have already set up our wedding site and registry. Fortunately Eric & I are from the traditional bride/groom. We are both and over 50 and prefer an intimate laid-back celebration. Once we determine the venue all the other details will fall into place.I’ll be recycling my wedding dress which I’m hoping will be several sizes too large by September 2025.
